There have been a number of exciting new developments at JIPL lately. At JIPL we are always interested in innovation and development and in extending our service offerings. We pride ourselves on not only understanding and identifying our customer’s needs, but in answering those needs. JIPL has teamed up with Alexander Rodionov from Water SolutioNZ Ltd because we believe he can add a lot of value to the company with his strong scientific background reinforced with his practical and intelligent solutions.
Alexander is a water professional with 30+ years of experience in the design of domestic and industrial water and wastewater treatment plants. Alexander has a background in chemical engineering and resource recovery and has been responsible for implementing a number of significant environmental projects in New Zealand and worldwide. He has reviewed and provided recommendations for more than 20 different wastewater treatment systems worldwide.
Dr Rodionov worked as a Project Designer/Manager of the R&D program for the industrial wastewater demineralization plant on Lake Baikal – work organized by the Russian State Environmental Committee. He also worked as assistant director of quality in St Petersburg for one of the biggest poultry projects in Russia and was a leading specialist for Baltika – Russia’s largest beer producer.
In New Zealand he was instrumental in the design and commissioning of two major industrial wastewater treatment plants for the NZ Aluminium Industry, NZ`s first advanced dairy shed effluent treatment system, a number of package domestic wastewater treatment plants and of course his landmark project – the Scott Base Wastewater Treatment Plant in Antarctica.
Alexander is particularly interested in green technologies, biological nutrient removal, advanced oxidation processes and on-farm water management.
Alexander’s extremely diverse skills and interests make him an expert in environmental and chemical engineering, analytical and water chemistry, resource recovery and other fields. These combined with his passion for continuous innovation have helped Alexander to perfect his own unique and resourceful approach to problem-solving which works – irrespective of the area of application.
JIPL together with Alexander holds a unique advantage which lies in:
