German Industrial Park installs innovative INVENT HYPERDIVE®- Mixers

In the expansive Weinheim Industrial Park, Germany, the solution for treating industrial wastewater lay in installing three advanced HYPERDIVE® Mixers from INVENT.

Spanning over 800,000 square meters and accommodating more than 50 diverse companies with a workforce of around 6,500 employees, this bustling industrial hub generates a significant volume of wastewater. This needs to be treated effectively in the park’s mixing and equalization basin.

To ensure the effective processing of wastewater, it’s crucial to agitate the settled sludge at the basin’s bottom and maintain a consistent flow. Unravelling the Power of the HYPERDIVE® Mixers for Efficient Wastewater Treatment

The HYPERDIVE® Mixer is a vertical mixer, with a hyperboloid mixer body installed close to the basin floor and a submerged drive enclosed in a cage design. The unique hyperboloid shape creates a vigorous radial bottom flow, ensuring the suspension of particles and complete mixing of incoming flows. This makes it the optimal choice for suspending and homogenizing tasks vital for water and wastewater treatment, especially in deeper basins.

Built to Last: Durability Meets Efficiency

The robust tripod base, constructed from coated steel, provides the necessary stability during both operation and rest. It supports the submersible drive and accommodates the electric cable’s passage past the mixer body. A stainless steel lifting cable, attached to the top of the frame, facilitates easy removal and reinstallation of the entire unit. The drive shaft and hub connection are crafted from high-quality stainless steel, rendering them highly resistant to corrosion.

This design allows for quick and straightforward installation and detachment, even after years of continuous operation, while ensuring the mixer operates securely. Due to its optimized design and integrated transport ribs, the hyperboloid mixer is exceptionally efficient and resistant to clogging.
