JIPL is now offering AMCON’s Volute technology to New Zealand. Thickening and dewatering all in one filter drum.
Before the invention of Volute it was common practise to first thicken the sludge and then dewater it.
Volute created a unified structure that serves two functions, thickening and dewatering in a single machine. The drum filter, is clog-free, and as a result of the high speed the sludge is instantly thickened by gravity. It is for this reason, that the low concentration sludge of about total solids 0.2%, as well as thickened sludge, can be directly fed without pre-thickening.
